Spring is here, and we couldn’t get more excited about this season! Of course, we also need to put up with other stuff such as allergies, gardening, and spring cleaning. Yes, especially spring cleaning. It’s a must for every household to do so!

My husband and I have been in love with each other for many years now. And even though we understand that Valentine’s Day isn’t the only time we’re supposed to show our affection for each other, February 14th serves as a reminder for the both of us of how far we’ve gotten in our marriage. Talk about young fashionistas! Kids can be pretty picky when it comes to what they wear or how they convey themselves, especially in school. If you think that being fussy about fashion is limited only to teens and adults like us, think again! I can attest to that, seeing my children indulge themselves with clothes from time to time.

When I was young, I used to observe my aunt pray to the Virgin Mary as Our Lady of Guadalupe, who manifested herself to Juan Diego on December 9, 1531. Tía held such great devotion and it was said that she used to invoke Our Lady to pray for me when I was still a baby.

Thanksgiving is on the end of November. I bet you’re all excited and I know I am. One particular food item that’s always on everyone’s table is roasted turkey. I know how much all you love turkey and I do too!

An extended family is a family structure consisting not only of parents and children (as with a nuclear family), but also of other relatives such as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and grandparents. Back in 1996, 21% of adults were part of an extended family. As society progressed, how people viewed extended families also changed.
Many treat the extended family as being burdensome. It’s understandable, due to various circumstances surrounding an extended family living in one home. But there are certain pros to living with a lot of relatives in one house!
