Talk about young fashionistas! Kids can be pretty picky when it comes to what they wear or how they convey themselves, especially in school. If you think that being fussy about fashion is limited only to teens and adults like us, think again! I can attest to that, seeing my children indulge themselves with clothes from time to time.
That’s why I decided to write about the fashion trends this year for primary school students. Buckle up, as this may give you some ideas on what your kids will wear this 2015.
Eye-catching, but not too flamboyant, it’s about time we give our little boys a chance to shine with intricate patterns. You may choose to avoid really flashy designs on the fabric and instead, settle for plaid, like in the image above.
Hell-bent on leather, bomber jackets are in! They make your little one feel like a total rebel, ready to fly planes, Top Gun style! Take note of the jacket’s thickness and go for neutral colors, as with the example above.
Military-themed apparel seems to be the thing this year. If you want to go for something simpler, then why not go for a t-shirt? They’re ideal for any casual setting! Fatigue colors with minimalist prints might be ideal for you, similar to the image above.
Taking a page off the Andalusian region in Spain, flamenco dresses are in. If you’re looking for a more formal look for your girl ideal for cocktails, such dress may be the best choice for your daughter. Go for simpler designs in mostly solid colors.
Either high-waisted or mid-waisted, bleached shorts are coming back right from the 80s! They may be in your usual bleached-out look or in tie-dye like colors. Try bleaching denim shorts with your daughter and you both might be able to come up with fun designs! Here’s how you can do so.
Warning: bleach is a hazardous substance, so proceed with caution when handling it!
Sweaters with Frayed Details
Frayed sweaters give your daughter that more laid-back look, simple as that. The thing you need to remember is to see to it that the sweater is precisely frayed so it won’t have to suffer damages anytime soon.
